I spent the first half of my life looking, from the outside, like a woman who had it together, and feeling like an underachiever the entire time. It took me fifteen years to finish a four year degree. Capability was never the issue. I refused to fake my way through, and nobody would tell me what question I was actually supposed to be answering.
At fifty-two, every coping strategy I had quietly built over decades stopped working, more or less overnight. For the first time in my adult life I could not hide it. That was the year I stopped managing the outside and went back for the skills underneath.
I taught myself research methodology from nothing after that. I spent six years on two international medication trials. I trained to read qEEGs. All of it came after the collapse, and all of it was built on the same seven steps that are in this room, because they were how I decided anything at all during the years when deciding was hardest.
Those steps have been taught inside my programs for over a decade, to roughly five hundred people. This is the first time I have handed them over as a room you can walk into on your own, as often as you need, without waiting for a call or a cohort.
You are the meaning maker in your life. Nothing has any meaning except the meaning you give it. That includes the decision you have been carrying around all month.
DrB + You = the decision, made.
